Bangladeshi woman gives birth in Assam jail

Guwahati, Oct 19 (IANS) A Bangladeshi lady, detained throughout the previous four months on charges of wrongfully entering India, has conceived an offspring in a prison here, authorities said on Wednesday. Chandni Sheik is an occupant of Dhaka in Bangladesh.

As indicated by the authorities, a long time back, she, alongside her significant other had entered India through the Tripura line with next to no legitimate reports.

Afterward, the couple went to Mumbai looking for work. In any case, as Chandni considered there, her significant other sent her with a comparative with return to Bangladesh by unlawful means a couple of months back.

Notwithstanding, this time she was captured at Badarpur rail line station in Karimganj region for going without a substantial VISA and identification. She was delivered in the court and the officer sent her to the travel camp.

In Assam, correctional facilities capability as travel camps, and unlawful outsiders are kept there by the police.

Chandni Sheik and her relative have been in Karimganj locale prison throughout the previous few months. In the mean time, the prison authority informed the wellbeing division about Shekh’s condition.

Samsul Alom, joint overseer of wellbeing in Karimganj said: “While visiting prison a couple of days prior, I was educated about the Bangladeshi detainee.

Two days back when she encountered work torment, the prison authority conceded her to the emergency clinic. A C-segment method was performed and Sheik brought forth a child kid on Monday.”

He further educated that the mother and kid are solid and sent back to prison on Tuesday.

According to sources, Sheik’s better half is still in Mumbai and deflecting police capture.
